Calculation Logic
This tool utilizes WebAssembly and modern JavaScript (such as pdfjs-dist and docx) in a background Web Worker to parse your PDF and rebuild it as a DOCX format directly within your browser.
This means your data never leaves your device, physically preventing any privacy breaches. Because it's a client-side solution without OCR (Optical Character Recognition), it works best for text-based PDFs and may not retain complex formatting or scanned images perfectly.

Why doesn't the output look exactly like my original PDF?
Parsing PDFs and reconstructing them as Word documents client-side is challenging. To guarantee absolute privacy, this tool focuses on extracting text accurately but does not yet support flawless layout retention (like complex overlapping elements or advanced tables).
Is there a file size limit?
There is no hard limit from our side. However, since it runs in your browser, extremely large files might be constrained by your device's available memory.
Does it support scanned PDFs?
No, currently it only supports text-based PDFs. Scanned images require OCR which is not yet included to keep the tool fast and private.
